Whats the craziest call off excuse you have ever received as a kitchen manager/chef?

I'd give him more than a few days ! Maybe he is working too many hours. Cut him down to part time for a week or so. Maybe then he will see it's a two way street.

What is Slow Food?

Slow Food is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating. It is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.

If you get a chance, you should create a blog post on slow food. I am interested to know more about this and I'm sure other community members would as well.

Hello Dave, welcome to the FSR community. One of the most interesting things about this community is the different personalities and myriad of ways that people build a business in food service. This will help people that do things similar to what you do find you and you them. It's all about connections and helping each other. Enjoy your day!
